A well-rounded education is more than what you learn from a text book or in the classroom. The Einstein Academy offers a variety of activities to enhance the student experience.

List of Electives

Art

The Einstein Academy arts program has a well-rounded approach that addresses the needs of the whole child. Students in Pre-Kindergarten through High School participate in carefully designed lessons that challenge students to explore the world of art around them. Students manipulate materials to produce thought provoking and insightful products. Students also study art history, cultural arts, interdisciplinary projects and creative studio techniques. The Einstein Academy understands and values the arts and therefore fosters creativity with a rigorous arts program set up for success at any artistic level.

Chorus (grades 6-12)

Students work together to create a unified sound. Solfege singing techniques are emphasized. Students begin to explore harmonization and use their skills in performances, both informal and formal.

Drama & Performance

All students grade PreK through high school will develop an appreciation of performance and the performing arts. Students will be exposed to various genres. Students will explore the history of dramatic interpretation and the creation of theatrical productions. Students will study theories, dramatic interpretations, character development, staging, scenery and tech work for lighting and sound.

Band

Students in grades 4 through 12 have the option to select a band instrument and learn the basics of music notation as well as the necessary techniques. Students have the opportunity to perform throughout the year. Each year students can progress to intermediate or advanced band and audition for pops ensemble and honors band.

Yearbook

Our upper level students are in charge of the all school yearbook.
They work throughout the year and create a beautiful hardcover yearbook for   the entire student body. Students learn all editing techniques for creating and designing yearbook pages.

Spanish

Students in grades 7-12 have the opportunity to take spanish as a second foreign language. Curriculum includes vocabulary, verb conjugation, reading, writing, and speaking.

Current Events

This course is designed to help students become aware of and understand the events that shape our world, nation, state, and local area. This will be done through reading, video, lecture, discussion, research, and personal experience.

Due to our rolling admissions process, we accept applications throughout the year. A non-refundable fee of $50 (or $100 for International) must accompany the application, payable to The Einstein Academy

02.

Each applicant is required to schedule a class visit as part of the admissions process.

03.

To be considered for acceptance by The Einstein Academy the following must be provided by the applicant:

  1. Copy of birth certificate
  2. Copy of report cards or assessment reports
  3. Teacher’s recommendation form
  4. Copy of results from any standardized test taken in the past three years
