Educational Testing
Our school participates in the following educational tests. Test data is utilized to measure growth and plan for curriculum and instruction.
MAP Testing
Students complete NWEA MAP tests in the fall, winter, and spring. Students are evaluated in reading, language arts, math, and science.
ACT (code CEEB)
The Einstein Academy hosts multiple ACT sessions a year, allowing TEA students to take the ACT exam in an environment where they feel comfortable. We have had students earn perfect scores in each subcategory of the ACT exam.
Over the past few years, our juniors have earned an average ACT score of 28.4. This is well above the national average of 20.8.
AP
PSAT (code CEEB)
Students in grades 9-11 participate in the PSAT each October. Our 11th grade students’ mean total score was 185 points higher than the state average and 250 points higher than the national average.Students in all grades are broken into teams who explore the zoo learning about the Latin names of the animals and how we can use that information to understand the animals and their behavior. This is a great opportunity for older students to show leadership and for younger students to be inspired by students in the upper grades
NUMATS
TEA students have been recognized by Northwestern University’s talent search program as a result of performing in the top 3% of standardized tests.

Due to our rolling admissions process, we accept applications throughout the year. A non-refundable fee of $50 (or $100 for International) must accompany the application, payable to The Einstein Academy.
02.
Each applicant is required to schedule a class visit as part of the admissions process.
03.
To be considered for acceptance by The Einstein Academy the following must be provided by the applicant:
- Copy of birth certificate
- Copy of report cards or assessment reports
- Teacher’s recommendation form
- Copy of results from any standardized test taken in the past three years
